A writer who lives in both worlds
I've always been a storyteller — but I resisted it for decades. A year at Tulane's School of Architecture taught me that my instinct was never for structures, but for the people inside them — and what powerful structures I could build from words. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, where English, Theatre Arts, and Comparative Literature finally felt like home, I headed to Los Angeles. As a performer, I tried on so many creative skins that multiple perspectives became ingrained in me. When I finally translated those voices onto the page — pilots, features, musicals, stage plays, and picture books — I recognized what I'd been doing all along: designing stories for people to step inside.
